Assistant Manager Melbourne

We are on the hunt for our next retail super star to join our Melbourne flagship team as the Assistant Store Manager. In this position you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of the day-to-day operations including inventory management, providing excellent customer service and on-going training support for our team.

This is a customer facing role, so the ideal candidate  must be someone who loves to be on the shop floor, nurtures our wonderful customer base & provides exceptional customer service. We pride ourselves on having an excellent work place culture and are looking for a leader to help guide, support and grow our Fitzroy team.

This is an entry level management position so experience is preferred but not essential

This would be a full time role, on a Sun - Thursday roster


Below are some of, but not limited to the key responsibilities for this role.

  • Manage the daily operations of the store, including overseeing inventory, sales, and customer service
  • Help to train and coach a team of retail staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Maintain a clean and organised store environment
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and the local community
  • Inspire & lead a team of like minded individuals creating a fun work environment.
  • Be able to give feedback to team members and performance manage areas of growth.
  • Use your initiative and be an ambassador for our brand

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proven track record of driving sales and meeting targets
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Retail Assistant Wellington

Our boutiques are on the hunt for new Retail Assistants to join our wonderful team.

You will bring your retail experience, as well as brand and product knowledge to care for our customers and store throughout the Alpha60 customer journey.

Working closely with the store manager — you will work together to support the day-to-day running of the store and work closely with one another to achieve sales goals and customer relationship processes.



PREFERABLE REQUIREMENT

— Experience working in a retail environment
— Loves working in a fast paced environment
— Applies initiative and loves contributing own ideas
— Familiarity with budgets and KPI’s within a retail environment
— Desire to build strong and long lasting relationships with customers and offer amazing customer experience
— A like for working within a close team environment
— Availability to work on weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
