TRAVEL DIARY: GEORGIE CLEARY

Exploring Italy with Alpha60 creative director Georgie Cleary.

Welcome to my travel diary, where I recount my recent adventures in Italy—an unforgettable journey through the surreal canals of Venice, the vibrant streets of Florence, and the picturesque landscapes of Tuscany. Join me as I dive deeper into the highlights and hidden gallery gems of
this incredible trip!

01

Our adventure begins in Rome, where the MAXXI Museum of 21st Century Art stole the show. The highlight for my daughters, Wren and Mae, was undoubtedly the stunning feather room, which left them in awe. I was equally inspired by the museum's architecture, as experiencing Zaha Hadid’s visionary design in person is always a treat.

02

We had the best coffee every morning from Cafe Tazza d'oro in Rome. Thank you to Dana from Yellowtrace for the excellent tips! Check out her travel diary here.

Venice is truly a surreal and enchanting city, with wandering its winding streets and picturesque canals as a highlight of the experience!

07

When packing for a European summer holiday, pleated separates are an essential in my suitcase. Lightweight, easy to wash, quick-drying, and requiring no ironing—these pieces are a travel must-have!
